Piranha Digital win Alison Handling projects

 

Alison Handling is the UK’s largest independent stockist of new plastic storage boxes, plastic boxes, plastic trays, plastic skips, plastic totes, plastic pallets, and plastic pallet boxes and Piranha Digital  has just won the pitch to create two new Magento 2 websites for Alison Handling. The websites will be built in Magento’s multi-site platform enabling the websites to share product information, availability, and stock information.   

 

Established in 1988, Alison Handling is a family business, named after the daughter of the founders Tony and Andrea Dearden with Alison now helping to manage the company. the UK warehouses are centrally located in Preston, close to the M6 motorway, for easy nationwide accessibility to facilitate prompt, reliable delivery of plastic storage boxes from stock. They supply plastic storage solutions to many household names including Wm Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsburys, Northern Foods, Premier Food Group, Nestle, Weetabix, K P Foods, Del Monte, Allied Bakeries, 2 Sisters Food Group, House of Fraser, British Gas, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Royal Bank of Scotland and Fujitsu.

The new A-Link Dolly is a rack to shelf solution, cutting the need for cage trolleys, and inefficient storage systems. It will potentially cut staff handling times between the warehouse and the store by approx. 46%.

 

Piranha was established in 2001 as a full-service advertising and marketing agency based in Preston, Lancashire. In the early years, Piranha focused on traditional marketing services such as radio and press advertising, direct mail, design for print, exhibitions, and branding.
